What Do Psychologists and Psychotherapists Do?
A psychologist is a specialist who analyzes and solves clients’ emotional, behavioral problems, relationship struggles, perception, personality difficulties. Psychologists may be helpful during life crises. They are also irreplaceable when motivation is needed in the processes of recovery (both psychological and physical level) and weight loss.
A separate area is psychotherapy. Psychotherapy is based on methodical solutions to certain problems. During regular and methodical work, the client’s faulty behavior, attitudes and psychological problems are changed over time. Psychotherapy has several directions. Different techniques help to solve different problems individually. The most commonly used in practice are psychoanalytic, cognitive and humanistic psychotherapy.
