About Radiesse

Radiesse is the first and only FDA-approved calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler designed to provide long-lasting results. This product not only provides a quick effect of lifting and contouring the oval of the face, but also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, promoting skin renewal.

What should you know about Radiesse calcium injections?

How is the Radiesse procedure performed?2024-04-03T10:55:33+03:00

The procedure is performed with a special needle – a cannula. This ensures the safety of the procedure, comfort for the client and controlled distribution of the filler exactly in the layer where it is to be injected.

How long do the results last after these calcium fillers?2024-04-03T10:54:23+03:00

It has been proven by scientific research and approved by the FDA that the results last for about a year, and in many cases even longer.

What to expect after the procedure?2024-04-03T10:51:13+03:00

After the procedure, a smoother skin surface, reduced wrinkles, and a restored face oval are usually immediately visible. As with other injection procedures, local redness and swelling can be expected immediately after Radiesse. If the skin is more sensitive, small bruises may also appear in the injection area, but all these signs usually disappear on their own within a few days. Be sure to inform the doctor performing the procedure about your health history and the medications you are taking so that we can ensure your safety.

Be sure to notify the doctor performing the procedure if you often experience symptoms of Herpes Simplex. In some cases, medication may be prescribed to prevent this condition after the procedure.

In which cases is the Radiesse procedure not performed?2024-04-03T10:50:11+03:00

Like other fillers, Radiesse procedures are not performed on pregnant and nursing women, in the presence of signs of infection in the injection area, oncological diseases (can be performed after 5 years of remission), blood circulation disorders or other illnesses. Detailed information in each client’s individual case is discussed with the injecting doctor before starting the procedure.

Who is the ideal candidate for this injection?2024-04-03T10:48:56+03:00

Radiesse injections are perfect for those people who already notice signs of aging: appearing wrinkles, sagging face oval, loss of volume in certain areas.

What to do after the procedure?2024-04-03T10:47:46+03:00

1-2 days after the procedure, it is recommended not to do active sports, drink alcohol, rub, or actively touch the injection area. You can return to your normal life immediately after the procedure. The doctor will recommend how to combine this treatment with other planned services.

Do not be alarmed if local swelling, redness, local pains appear after the injections, they usually pass within a few hours or a few days. Small bruises are also possible at the puncture sites. If you have any doubts, call us and we will be happy to answer all your questions or quickly register a visit to a specialist for repeated consultation.

Is the Radiesse procedure painful?2024-04-03T10:46:09+03:00

Recently, injection procedures have become more and more comfortable for the client. Radiesse is no exception. The puncture area is numbed with an anesthetic cream or lidocaine injection, and the procedure itself is performed with a cannula, so only minimal discomfort is felt, but no pain.

Can injections be performed under ultrasound control?2024-04-03T10:45:08+03:00

In certain more complicated cases, the doctor can use ultrasound to help evaluate the tissues, the exact places where the blood vessels are located.

An ultrasound examination can also be performed before the dissolution of hyaluron filler deposits – the hyaluronidase procedure. This is especially relevant when observing the migration of the filler into the surrounding tissues, touching bumps or when facing complications such as vascular occlusion and tissue necrosis.

REVÙ CLINIC was the first in Lithuania to start using ultrasound when performing injections of hyaluronic fillers, and our doctor Aurelija Juškienė has passed several international trainings in the treatment of complications and is considered an expert in the treatment of complications in Lithuania.
